Abstract

O sorgo é utilizado para rotação de cultura da cana-de-açúcar, recuperando o solo onde a cana foi plantada e há ainda o aproveitamento da biomassa para a cogeração de energia através da combustão de matéria orgânica, e para a produção de bioetanol de segunda geração. Comparando custos de plantação do canavial e os custos da produção do sorgo, que é dividido em seis partes: Preparo de solo, Plantio, Condução da lavoura, Colheita e transporte e Custeio geral.Sorghum is used for sugarcane crop rotation, recovering the soil where the sugarcane was planted and there is also the use of biomass for cogeneration of energy through the combustion of organic matter, and for the production of second generation bioethanol.
