Resumo
O mundo vive um grande momento de expansão tecnológica e,
consequentemente, tornamo-nos a geração mais conectada. A partir disso, o
acesso à informação trouxe relevância às mais diversas pautas relacionadas à
sociedade e ao meio ambiente, desde a fome crônica em diferentes países à
degradação de recursos naturais no mundo. Em contrapartida, com o advento
da internet, alimentamos um mercado capitalista nos mais diversos segmentos
com o consumo excessivo das mídias sociais, aumentando a competitividade
entre marcas, como a indústria têxtil, que traz um produto cobiçado por todas as
classes sociais, movimenta a economia, dita tendências de moda e é um dos
setores que mais causam impactos ambientais.
The world is experiencing a period of significant technological expansion, and, consequently, we have become the most connected generation. As a result, access to information has brought relevance to a wide range of issues related to society and the environment, from chronic hunger in different countries to the degradation of natural resources worldwide. In contrast, with the advent of the internet, we have fueled a capitalist market in a wide range of segments through excessive consumption of social media, increasing competition among brands, such as the textile industry, which offers a product coveted by all social classes, drives the economy, sets fashion trends, and is one of the sectors that causes the greatest environmental impact.
