Resumo
Este estudo discute a importância da liderança feminina no mercado de trabalho, destacando os principais desafios enfrentados por mulheres e o impacto do seu papel na gestão empresarial. O tema foi definido perante a necessidade de entender como a presença de mulheres em cargos de liderança contribui para o desenvolvimento e criação de ambientes organizacionais mais inclusivos. O objetivo principal consistiu em identificar barreiras que dificultam a ascensão profissional feminina e compreender de que maneira suas características de liderança podem ser conceituadas como vantagem competitiva. A pesquisa, de natureza exploratória, combinou métodos qualitativos e quantitativos. Primeiramente, realizou-se um levantamento bibliográfico sobre o contexto histórico, direitos, importância, desafios, impacto e liderança. Em seguida, aplicou-se um questionário a 209 participantes de diferentes empresas, permitindo analisar diferentes percepções sobre oportunidades, desafios e impactos da liderança feminina. Os resultados evidenciaram que a presença de mulheres em cargos de gestão é reconhecida como positiva, principalmente por promover empatia, cooperação e clima organizacional mais equilibrado. Conclui-se que a valorização da liderança feminina representa não apenas uma questão de equidade, mas também uma estratégia capaz de fortalecer a cultura organizacional, inovação e sustentabilidade nas empresas.
This study discusses the importance of female leadership in the job market, highlighting the main challenges women face and the impact of their role in business management. The topic was defined based on the need to understand how the presence of women in leadership positions contributes to the development and creation of more inclusive organizational environments. The main objective was to identify barriers that hinder women's professional advancement and understand how their leadership characteristics can be conceptualized as a competitive advantage. The research, exploratory in nature, combined qualitative and quantitative methods. First, a literature review was conducted on the historical context, rights, importance, challenges, impact, and leadership. Next, a questionnaire was administered to 209 participants from different companies, allowing for the analysis of different perceptions about the opportunities, challenges, and impacts of female leadership. The results showed that the presence of women in management positions is recognized as positive, primarily because it promotes empathy, cooperation, and a more balanced organizational climate. It is concluded that valuing female leadership represents not only a matter of equity, but also a strategy capable of strengthening organizational culture, innovation and sustainability in companies.
