Inteligência artificial aplicada à educação: o potencial dos chatbots como assistentes de aprendizagem na Fatec Catanduva

Abstract

Chatbot é um software que simula uma conversa humano-computador semelhante a ações humanas, conseguindo analisar as necessidades do usuário e entregar uma interação mais natural e efetiva. Utilizar os chatbots como ferramenta de auxílio na educação pode levar o aluno a novas formas de adquirir conhecimento e de desenvolver seu senso crítico, realizando a análise do conteúdo que o chatbot retornou e ponderando para saber se poderá fazer proveito de tal conteúdo ou não. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo fazer uma análise dentro da Fatec Catanduva, com seus docentes, para saber se eles estariam dispostos a pesquisar sobre essa nova tecnologia e fazer seu uso em suas aulas, e caso contrário, quais os motivos de não os utilizar. Após feita a pesquisa, foi possível concluir que há interesse dos professores em pesquisar mais sobre essa tecnologia; porém, eles não se sentem totalmente confiantes a aplicá-la por falta de infraestrutura e mais conhecimento sobre esse assunto.A chatbot is a software program that imitates human interaction by analyzing users' needs and delivering natural and effective responses. Chatbots can be useful in education as they provide an alternative method of acquiring knowledge and cultivating critical thinking skills. Through analyzing chatbot replies and evaluating whether they are helpful, students can develop their ability to think critically. The objective of this research is to analyze the willingness of the teachers at Fatec Catanduva to research and implement a new technology in their classes, as well as determining any reasons for reluctance. The results indicate that there is interest among the teachers to explore this technology further; however, they do express a lack of confidence in applying it due to a lack of infrastructure and a need for further knowledge.
