Endereçamento IP

Abstract

A Internet é uma nova e poderosa ferramenta que permite realizar diversas tarefas, encurtar distâncias, agilizar processos, etc. Apesar de sua recente popularização, o forte avanço pelo qual está passando faz com que a Internet seja uma das tecnologias mais estudadas e com mais possibilidades de convergir e interligar outras tecnologias, conectando outros equipamentos numa grande rede. Este trabalho aborda como surgiu e o que é, de um ponto de vista técnico, esta rede mundial de computadores. Além disso, há uma análise sobre o endereçamento de rede e o crescimento em número de usuários e sobre algumas tendências e tecnologias que estão surgindo, IPng (IP next generation), oficialmente conhecido como IPv6 (IP versão 6).The internet is a new and powerful tool that allows to do several jobs, to shorten distances, to speed processes, etc. In spite of its recent popularization, the strong advance it is passing through makes the Internet one of the most studied technologies and with more possibilities to converge and to establish connection with other technologies, connecting other devices in a big network. This work approaches how it appeared and what is, in a technical point of view, this worldwide computer's network. Furthermore, there is an analysis of the network addressing and about the increasing number of users and about some tendencies and technologies that are appearing, as the IPng (IP of the new generation), also well known as IPV6 (IP version 6).
