O objetivo é criar consciência sobre a importância da conexão entre comida, comunidade e ecossistema. O trabalho propõe um estudo de caso em um restaurante local em Jundiaí, que exemplifica os benefícios do Slow Food ao celebrar a história familiar, herança culinária e compromisso com a comunidade. O movimento vai além de uma tendência gastronômica, sendo uma influência global que busca um mundo onde os alimentos sejam benéficos para consumidores, produtores e o planeta, valorizando a qualidade alimentar, sustentabilidade e justiça na cadeia alimentar. O Slow Food continua a moldar a percepção global da comida, encorajando uma abordagem mais apreciativa, gratificante e socialmente responsável para o ato de comer.
