Resumo
A Etec Alcides Cestari poderia estabelecer relações sustentáveis com os seus estudantes, incentivando a preservação ambiental, apresentando as experiências adquiridas no projeto pedagógico “Horta na Escola”, como laboratório vivo. À proposta sucedeu-se do entendimento de que a inserção de hortas em espaços escolares pode desenvolver importante contribuição experimental que possibilita ao aluno obter e interagir com elementos do mundo natural, sensibilizando-se para o cuidado com o solo, a água e a alimentação saudável, além do que a alimentação escolar é um direito de todos os alunos. Através do projeto “Horta Escolar” buscamos valorizar o meio ambiente implementando uma educação ambiental que envolva os alunos, propondo pequenas mudanças ao longo do processo educativo. Plantar sementes e hortas como meio de conhecimento e aprendizado para alunos e funcionários, fornece pequenas mudanças de hábitos ao longo do programa que se tornem “hábitos saudáveis na vida cotidiana”. As principais atividades desenvolvidas pela escola incluem a horta no trabalho de educação ambiental e alimentar; conhecimento, cultivo e como uma variedade de vegetais, incluindo (compostagem e coleta seletiva) onde os alimentos colhidos na horta foram aproveitados como resultado da implementação da proposta pela escola, com ganhos positivos por meio de mudanças na alimentação e no consumo diário dos alunos.
Etec Alcides Cestari could establish sustainable relationships with its students, encouraging environmental preservation, presenting the experiences acquired in the pedagogical project “Horta na Escola”, as a living laboratory. The proposal followed from the understanding that the insertion of vegetable gardens in school spaces can develop an important experimental contribution that allows the student to obtain and interact with elements of the natural world, raising awareness about the care of soil, water and healthy food. , in addition to school meals being a right for all students. Through the “Horta Escolar” project, we seek to value the environment by implementing environmental education that involves students, proposing small changes throughout the educational process. Planting seeds and gardens as a means of knowledge and learning for students and staff, provides small changes in habits throughout the program that become “healthy habits in everyday life”. The main activities developed by the school include the garden in the work of environmental and food education; knowledge, cultivation and how a variety of vegetables, including (composting and selective collection) where the food harvested in the garden was used as a result of the implementation of the proposal by the school, with positive gains through changes in the food and daily consumption of students.
