Ferramentas tecnológicas assistivas e inclusão digital para deficientes visuais

Abstract

Um dos desafios enfrentados por pessoas com deficiência visual é a inclusão digital, e, com o crescente avanço da tecnologia, essa pauta se torna cada vez mais relevante. O presente artigo, por meio de entrevistas com usuários reais, investiga a eficácia de tecnologias assistivas que possibilitam o acesso a ferramentas digitais, promovendo autonomia, educação e informação, ao mesmo tempo em que discute barreiras e desafios persistentes, como alto custo de acessórios assistivos, falta de capacitação e políticas públicas. Aponta‐se a importância de recursos assistivos personalizados, a utilização de dispositivos no cotidiano e a eficácia de inteligências artificiais no contexto assistivo, exibindo caminhos que ampliam o uso pleno da cidadania por pessoas com deficiência visual.One of the challenges faced by people with visual impairments is digital inclusion, and, with the increasing advancement of technology, this issue becomes increasingly relevant. This article, through interviews with real users, investigates the effectiveness of assistive technologies that enable access to digital tools, promoting autonomy, education and information, while discussing persistent barriers and challenges such as the high cost of assistive accessories, lack of training and public policies. It highlights the importance of personalized assistive resources, the use of devices in everyday life and the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the assistive context, showing ways that expand the full use of citizenship by people with visual impairments.
