Resumo
O estudo investiga a aplicação da inteligência artificial (IA) no last mile delivery do Mercado Livre e seus impactos na experiência do consumidor. Tem como objetivo analisar como a IA contribui para a eficiência logística, redução de custos operacionais e melhoria da satisfação dos clientes. A pesquisa adota abordagem qualitativa, decaráter exploratório e descritivo, fundamentada em revisão bibliográfica, documental e estudo de caso. Os resultados indicam que a IA tem papel estratégico na roteirização inteligente, automação dos centros de distribuição e previsão de demanda, proporcionando entregas mais ágeis e personalizadas. Observa-se a melhoria na previsibilidade, redução de falhas e otimização da frota, embora ainda existam desafios relacionados à infraestrutura tecnológica e à capacitação profissional. Conclui-se que a IA é um diferencial competitivo para o setor logístico, com potencial para ampliar a sustentabilidade das operações e transformar a experiência do consumidor.
The study investigates the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Mercado Livre’s last mile delivery and its impacts on the consumer experience. Its objective is to analyze how AI contributes to logistics efficiency, reduction of operational costs, and improvement of customer satisfaction. The research adopts a qualitative approach with an exploratory and descriptive character, based on bibliographic and documentary review as well as a case study. The results indicate that AI plays a strategic role in smart routing, automation of distribution centers, and demand forecasting, enabling faster and more personalized deliveries. Improvements were observed in predictability, failure reduction, and fleet optimization, although challenges remain regarding technological infrastructure and workforce training. It is concluded that AI represents a competitive advantage for the logistics sector, with the potential to enhance the sustainability of operations and transform the consumer experience.
