A similaridade do WML e WMLScript com as tecnologias já existentes para PCs (HTML, C), facilita a assimilação e sua utilização pelos desenvolvedores de Mini Sites (Sites para Telefones Celulares e Palms).WML and WMLScript are solutions for the wireless world to the production of Internet sites. These programing languages have all their potencial modeled to the characteristics of the wireless devices.
