Tendências do mercado vegetariano e vegano no Brasil

Abstract

O mercado de alimentos voltados para consumidores que se intitulam vegetarianos ou veganos vem crescendo de forma significativa nos países desenvolvidos e em desenvolvimento. O veganismo, assim como o vegetarianismo, vem crescendo e vem ganhando espaço no meio da sociedade, e com isso o mercado vem se adaptando a esse nicho. Este trabalho se propõe analisar o mercado de alimentos vegetarianos e veganos para entender as motivações dos consumidores que optam por esse estilo de vida. Concluiu-se que o mercado destes alimentos está em crescimento e que a demanda destes é maior que a oferta, abrindo caminho e oportunidades para se investir nesse ramo que possui um grande potencialThe food market for consumers who call themselves vegetarian or vegan has been growing significantly in developed and developing countries. Veganism, like vegetarianism, has been growing and has been gaining ground in society, and with that the market has been adapting to this niche. This work proposes to analyze the vegetarian and vegan food market to understand the motivations of consumers who choose this lifestyle. It was concluded that the market for these foods is growing and that their demand is greater than the supply, opening the way and opportunities to invest in this sector that has great potential.
