Introduction: Kombucha is na ancient fermented beverage, widely known for its health benefits. Its use in cosmetics has been discussed by researchers aiming to provide new insights into its potential. Objective: To develop formulations of a hair mask and facial serum with the addition of green tea Kombucha for the analysis of potential benefits to the skin, hair, and as na antimicrobial agent. Materials and Methods: Ingredients were used for the formulation; for efficacy verification, sensory analysis and accelerated stability testing were employed. Results: After 20 days of fermentation, Kombucha exhibited a strong odor, and its pH reached the minimum limit allowed for consumption. In a test with human hair, the performance of the control mask was superior. The formulation of the Kombucha mask was well-received in sensory characteristics, although its residual odor caused some users to find it strange. The serum was well-received and showed a positive sensory result after application. In stability testing, the formulations at 5 and 10 days showed a loss of some initial characteristics. Conclusion: The facial serum was well-received and showed a positive response in its use, but more elaborate assays are still needed to understand if it provides benefits beyond softness. The hair mask had a negative response in strand testing, suggesting a possible reformulation with na increase in pH.
