Fake news: um estudo sobre os impactos causados à sociedade motivados pelo compartilhamento de notícias falsas

Abstract

Esse artigo descreve como as notícias falsas, também conhecidas também como fake news, podem impactar de forma real na nossa sociedade. Tendo como ponto de partida os conceitos de ética e redes sociais, foi permitido realizar uma análise dos impactos causados pelo compartilhamento de notícias falsas para sociedade. Diante de várias fake news que surgiram nos últimos anos foram utilizados três exemplos que tiveram impacto em larga escala resultando em graves consequências sociais. O artigo também traz junto ao estudo realizado sugestões para que esse comportamento pouco ético ou equivocado seja minimizado a fim de evitar o crescimento absurdo de desinformação que assola as redes sociais nos tempos modernos.This article describes how false news, also known as fake news, can really impact our society. Taking as a starting point the concepts of ethics and social networks, it was allowed to perform an analysis of the impacts caused by sharing false news to society. Even with several fake news that has emerged in recent years, three examples have been used that have had a large-scale impact, resulting in serious social consequences. The article also brings along the study the solutions so that this unethical or mistaken behavior is minimized in order to avoid the absurd growth of disinformation that plagues social networks nowadays.
