Venda de crédito de carbono a partir de propriedades agrícolas

Abstract

O gás carbônico tem sido emitido à atmosfera de forma alarmante desde a revolução industrial, trazendo consequências, tais como o agravamento do efeito estufa e mudanças climáticas. E em uma tentativa de diminuir os efeitos disto, o crédito de carbono, que serve como uma ''moeda ambiental'', foi criado pela ONU no projeto Kyoto, compensando em estimado 1 tonelada de carbono emitido, mas um defeito deste projeto, seria a falta de certeza da compensação à base, principalmente das árvores as quais são plantadas em reflorestamentos financiados pelos investimentos do crédito. A solução proposta por esse TCC é a implementação do crédito de carbono para agricultores de árvores frutíferas, trazendo benefícios tanto às empresas que vão financiar essas produções quanto ao próprio produtor.

The carbon dioxide has been emitted to the atmosphere alarmingly ever since the industrial revolution, bringing consequences such as the worsening of the greenhouse effect and climate changes. In an attempt of reducing the effects, the carbon credits were created, serving as a ‘’Ambiental coin’’, they were created by ONU in the Kyoto project, compensating in estimated 1 ton of emitted carbon, but there is a fault in the project, being the lack of certainty of compensation, mainly for trees which are planted in reforestation projects, financed by the credit investment. The solution proposed by this final paper, is the implementation of the carbon credit in fruit tree farms, bringing benefits to both companies, who can finance these productions, and the producers themselves.
