A importância do turismo para a econômia de Piquete-SP

Abstract

Ao analisar o turismo sob os aspectos econômicos e social, é possível avaliar a sua capacidade de gerar empregos, distribuir renda, captar divisas e proporcionar a melhoria da qualidade de vida na cidade. A cidade de Piquete possui dois meios turísticos: a região de montanhas e cachoeiras. Convivem harmoniosamente belíssimas paisagens, formadas por exuberante fauna e flora, construções antigas fundadas como patrimônios históricos com vistas maravilhosas. Este extraordinário potencial turístico poderá tornar-se num futuro próximo, necessitando, contudo, de vultoso investimento em infra -estrutura que da mesma forma será benéfico a população piquetense. O objetivo deste artigo é avaliar o impacto que o turismo proporciona na economia da cidade.By analyzing tourism from the economic and social aspects, it is possible to assess its capacity to generate jobs, distribute income, capture foreign exchange and improve the quality of life in the city. The city of Piquete has two touristic means: the region of mountains, waterfalls. Beautiful landscapes coexist harmoniously, formed by exuberant fauna and flora, old buildings founded as historical heritage with wonderful views. This extraordinary tourist potential may become a reality in the near future, however, requiring substantial investment in infrastructure, which will also be of benefit to the population of Piquet. The objective of this monograph is to evaluate the impact that tourism has on the economy of the city of Piquete and the future perspectives of its use through partnership between state and private entities.
