Biojoias com reutilização de poliestireno e matéria orgânica

Abstract

Esse artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma alternativa para moda convencional, propondo a criação de biojoias a partir da reciclagem do poliestireno. A hipótese do estudo consiste na possibilidade de criação de uma resina a partir do poliestireno e de um solvente natural (d-limoneno e terpinoleno), que junto ao encapsulamento de uma flor, dariam origem a joia, o que já descreve o objetivo geral do trabalho; criação do pingente para colar a partir destes materiais. A metodologia baseou-se na dissolução do isopor pelo solvente, adição de flores e secagem. Após tais etapas, e feita a moldagem de um pingente da joia para uso. Os resultados demonstram sucesso na criação da biojoia, concluindo que é possível pensar na moda com uma visão sustentável e custo acessivel.This article aims to present an alternative to conventional fashion, proposing the creation of biojewelry from recycled polystyrene. The hypothesis of the study consists of the possibility of creating a resin from polystyrene and a natural solvent (d-limonene and terpinolene), which, together with the encapsulation of a flower, would give rise to jewelry, which already describes the general objective of the work; creation of the pendant to necklace from these materials. The methodology was based on dissolving the Styrofoam with the solvent, adding flowers and drying. After these steps, a jewelry pendant is molded for use. The results demonstrate success in the creation of biojewelry, concluding that it is possible to think about fashion with a sustainable vision and an affordable cost.
