Benefícios da Integração Lavoura-Pecuária-Floresta

Abstract

A integração lavoura-pecuária-floresta proporciona aumento e qualidade na produção animal e vegetal, resulta em benefícios ambientais e sociais. Além disso, possibilita o aumento de áreas de plantio e produção de grãos sobre áreas de pastagens degradadas ou mesmo em áreas não específicas para plantios. Trata-se de um sistema inovador onde o mais importante é estar fazendo a integração das atividades, produzindo, tendo lucro e conservando o meio ambiente. Sendo assim, esse trabalho teve o objetivo de entender como ocorre o processo de produção que engloba a integração entre lavoura, pecuária e floresta e os benefícios que esse procedimento pode trazer. O procedimento metodológico utilizado foi pesquisa bibliográfica. Os resultados demonstram que esses sistemas estão se expandindo e sua adoção é fundamental para restaurar terras degradadas tanto para pastagens quanto para cultivos. Também otimiza o uso da terra aumenta a produtividade, diversifica a produção e produz produtos de alta qualidade. Tudo isso no mesmo local, o que reduz a pressão de desenvolvimento de novas áreas para cultivo e pastagem.The crop-livestock-forest integration provides increase and quality in animal and vegetal production and results in environmental and social benefits. Besides, it enables the increase of planting areas and grain production over degraded pasture areas or even in areas that are not specific for planting. It is an innovative system where the most important thing is to integrate the activities, producing and making a profit while conserving the environment. Therefore, this work aimed to understand how the production process that encompasses the integration between farming, livestock and forest occurs and the benefits that this procedure can bring. The methodological procedure used was bibliographical research. The results demonstrate that these systems are expanding and their adoption is essential to restore degraded lands for both pasture and crops. It also optimizes land use, increases productivity, diversifies production and produces high quality products. All of this in the same location, which reduces the pressure to develop new areas for cultivation and pasture.
