Mulheres em cargos executivos no mercado de trabalho: discutindo a realidade

Abstract

A mulher foi inserida no mercado de trabalho há menos de 100 anos, desde então está lutando por seus direitos e pela igualdade de gênero, principalmente no meio corporativo, aonde é subestimada o suficiente para não receber o mesmo que um homem, mesmo investindo mais em estudos. A mulher já conquistou seu espaço em alguns âmbitos, mas, em outros, ainda sofre discriminação, como em cargos executivos, pois é questionada sobre a maternidade mesmo que ainda não seja mãe, em que sua vida particular também é colocada em pauta quando se trata de um cargo gerencial. O objetivo central desse artigo é analisar a realidade da mulher em cargos executivos, discutindo os desafios e conflitos sofridos pelas mesmas no âmbito profissional.Women were inserted in the labor market less than 100 years ago, since then they have been fighting for their rights and for gender equality, especially in the corporate environment, where they are underestimated enough not to receive the same as a man, even investing more in studies. The woman has already conquered her space in some areas, but in others she still suffers discrimination, such as in executive positions, as she is asked about motherhood even if she is not a mother yet, where her private life is also put on the agenda when it comes to a position managerial. The main objective of this project is to analyze the reality of women in executive positions, seeing the challenges and conflicts suffered by them in the professional sphere.
