Visando a
Modelagem Unificada).
It was in Europe, during the 19th century, that the term "geek" began to be used, referring to people as "silly". Nowadays, "geek" is used to refer to technology specialists and individuals with a strong interest in the field, often compared to the term nerd. On the other hand, "nerd" originated in 1950 to characterize highly intelligent people, but with limited social development. Likewise, it has led to stigmas that have led this group to isolate themselves in their family circles of interest. For this reason, this work aims to develop a web interaction space to unite geek society, reducing the social exclusion that has occurred since ancient times. This interaction allows users to identify and connect on topics with cultural themes involving electronic games, books, comics, anime (Japanese animation) and much more. For the project in question, research was conducted into bibliographical references in order to support the necessary development. In addition, the principles of object orientation and MVC (model-view-controller) layered architecture were used to improve the software's organization and ease of maintenance. With a view to modeling, the diagrams were reproduced using UML (Unified Modeling Language). As a result, the project achieves the main goals set out, providing a pleasant experience for users, filling in the gaps mentioned above.
