Mulheres caminhoneiras: os desafios enfrentados na profissão

Abstract

O presente estudo buscou analisar os desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres caminhoneiras em sua atuação profissional, com o fundamental foco na transportação. Neste sentido, o objetivo geral foi analisar a atuação profissional das mulheres brasileiras no transporte rodoviário de cargas e os desafios que essas profissionais enfrentam no exercício de sua profissão. A metodologia usada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, com caráter descritivo e abordagem qualitativa para a elaboração do embasamento teórico. Para a pesquisa prática foram utilizados dois tipos de coleta de dados: a entrevista com líderes das caminhoneiras e questionário aplicado a um grupo de cerca 50 mulheres desta profissão. Como conclusão, verificou-se o desafio da profissão, relatado tanto em relação às questões que versam sobre os enfretamentos operacionais que se apresentam diariamente, quanto ao tratamento que essas profissionais recebem por serem mulheres.The present study sought to analyze the challenges faced by female truck drivers in their professional activities, with a fundamental focus on transportation. In this sense, the general objective was to analyze the professional performance of Brazilian women in road freight transport and the challenges that these professionals face in the exercise of their profession. The methodology used was bibliographical research, with a descriptive character and a qualitative approach for the elaboration of the theoretical basis. For practical research, two types of data collection were used, interviews with truck drivers' leaders and a questionnaire applied to a group of about 50 women in this profession. In conclusion, the challenge of the profession was verified, reported both in relation to the issues that deal with the operational confrontations that arise daily, as well as the treatment that these professionals receive for being women.
