Abstract

O trabalho de conclusão de curso, trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica com fins informativos, onde abordou-se a importância do teste do pezinho. Tendo por objetivo aprofundar o conhecimento acerca do tema, como, as doenças detectadas, o período de coleta e como o procedimento é realizado. A enfermagem tem contato direto com as gestantes durante o pré-natal e deve oferecer orientações, ampliando assim o entendimento das gestantes sobre a importância do teste garantindo a participação consciente e favorável para a promoção da saúde do recém-nascido.The course conclusion work is a bibliographical review for informative purposes, which addressed the importance of the heel prick test. Aiming to deepen knowledge on the topic, such as the diseases detected, the collection period and how the procedure is carried out. Nursing has direct contact with pregnant women during prenatal care and must offer guidance, thus expanding pregnant women's understanding of the importance of the test, ensuring conscious and favorable participation in promoting the newborn's health.
