Acessibilidade para pessoas com defiência auditiva e a comunidade surda

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender os desafios da acessibilidade para pessoas com deficiência auditiva e a comunidade surda, bem como identificar e descrever as dificuldades da comunidade, a partir da importância de garantir a inclusão desses indivíduos. No contexto tecnológico, investigamos avanços e desafios na criação de ferramentas digitais acessíveis. A partir das informações obtidas, foi criada uma ferramenta que, apesar de não acabar com a falta de acessibilidade para esse grupo, ajuda a incluir e facilitar a comunicação entre a comunidade surda brasileira, pessoas que convivem com essa comunidade e interessados em aprender LIBRAS.

This study aims to understand the challenges of accessibility for people with hearing impairment and the deaf community, as well as identifying and describing the community's difficulties, based on the importance of ensuring the inclusion of these individuals. In the technological context, we investigate advances and challenges in creating accessible digital tools. Based on the information obtained, a tool was created that, although it does not end the lack of accessibility for this group, helps to include and facilitate communication between the Brazilian deaf community, people who live with this community and those interested in learning LIBRAS.
