Aleitamento materno: o que leva ao desmame precoce

Abstract

Muito se discute a importância do aleitamento materno, observando este cenário foi aplicado uma pesquisa com questionário via internet, para avaliar os principais fatores que levam o desmame precoce, 85 mães entre 17 e 54 anos responderam esta pesquisa. Conseguiu-se observar que a maioria das mães tiveram instruções sobre o aleitamento e até então seguem estas instruções. Todas as mães tiveram alguma dificuldade antes, durante ou após o início da amamentação, relataram dores, interferência da família com mitos e crenças, mas o maior influente para a maioria destas mães é o retorno a sua vida social com 42.4%, e por este motivo acabam deixando de amamentar seu filho. Após esta pesquisa e o estudo dos resultados foi formulado uma cartilha digital, com o intuito de enviar a mães lactantes a fim promover o estímulo do aleitamento materno exclusivo, redução desmame precoce.

Much is discussed about the importance of breastfeeding, observing this scenario a survey was applied with a questionnaire via internet to assess the main factors that lead to early weaning. 85 mothers between 17 and 54 years old answered this survey. It was possible to observe that most mothers had instructions on breastfeeding and still follow these instructions. All mothers had some difficulty before, during or after the beginning of breastfeeding, reported pain, family interference with myths and beliefs, but the biggest influence for most of these mothers is the return to their social life with 42.4% within the research, and for this reason they end up not breastfeeding their child. After this research and the study of the results, a digital booklet was formulated, with the purpose of sending it to be nursing mothers in order to promote the encouragement of exclusive breastfeeding, reducing early weaning.
