Resumo
Os consumos por necessidades para a sobrevivência humana sempre estiveram atrelados ao
comportamento dos consumidores que decidem o que é mais importante para si. Desta forma,
o estudo procura saber como o consumidor reage a uma pandemia, precisando escolher o quais
são as suas necessidades mais importantes para sobreviver. Após a formulação teórica, o
trabalho apresenta um levantamento quantitativo nos consumidores, para entender o nível do
impacto sofrido em seu poder compra causada pela pandemia e como seus comportamentos
mudaram para manterem o seu consumo. Juntando a teoria com a prática, percebe-se que
consumidores com renda menores acabaram tendo que mudar bastante sua forma de consumir,
já que tiveram um impacto maior, enquanto, aqueles com uma renda maior conseguiram manter
suas compras e não sofreram tanto com a pandemia.
Consumption based on human survival needs has always been linked to the behavior of consumers who decide what is most important to them. Thus, the study seeks to know how consumers react to a pandemic, needing to choose what their most important needs are to survive. After the theoretical formulation, the work presents a quantitative survey of consumers, to understand the level of impact on their purchasing power caused by the pandemic and how their behaviors changed to maintain their consumption. Combining theory with practice, it is clear that consumers with lower incomes ended up having to change their way of consuming a lot, as they had a greater impact, while those with higher incomes managed to keep their purchases and did not suffer as much from the pandemic.
