Moda e upcycling: desafios e possibilidades

Abstract

Em tempos de emergência climática, cada vez mais se vê ações com soluções sustentáveis para tentar diminuir os impactos causados pele homem. Pensando nesta necessidade de se ter novas atitudes em todos os setores, esta pesquisa se dará na área da moda no que é chamado de Slow Fashion. Neste sentido, por já haver muitas marcas de moda trabalhando neste mercado em crescimento, mas que, ao mesmo tempo, não estimulam o consumo, pensou-se na dificuldade em se destacar nesta concorrência. Por isso, a pesquisa pretende criar alternativas de como criar roupas atemporais e sustentáveis de forma atraente com preço acessível e com peças exclusivas. Para isso, objetiva-se aprofundar as pesquisas em livros, artigos científicos e em sites especializados sobre o Slow Fashion, especificamente sobre os impactos das confecções de moda na degradação do meio ambiente, que levam a necessidade de estudar sobre a economia circular. Também será necessário pesquisar as marcas que trabalham com Slow Fashion e o upcycling para se ter uma base do que já existe e do que pode ser criado, além de fazer o levantamento em pesquisa de campo em confecções de roupas de malha para fazer a verificação dos resíduos ou retalhos que sobram em suas formas e tamanhos, a fim de pensar na construção de uma espécie de “colcha de retalhos” com área suficiente para que nele sejam cortados os moldes que construirão novas peças.In times of climate emergency, more and more actions are seen with sustainable solutions to try to lessen the impacts caused by man skin. Thinking about this need to have new attitudes in all sectors, this research will take place in the area of fashion in what is called Slow Fashion. In this sense, because there are already many fashion brands working in this growing market, but at the same time do not stimulate consumption, it was thought of the difficulty in highlighting in this competition. Therefore, the research aims to create alternatives for how to create timeless and sustainable clothes in an attractive way with affordable prices and exclusive pieces. For this, the objective is to deepen research in books, scientific articles and specialized sites on Slow Fashion, specifically on the impacts of fashion clothing on the degradation of the environment, which lead to the need to study about the circular economy. It will also be necessary to research the brands that work with Slow Fashion and upcycling in order to have a base of what already exists and what can be created, in addition to carrying out a survey in field research in knitted clothing confections to verify the residues or scraps that are left over in their shapes and sizes, in order to think about the construction of a kind of “patchwork quilt” with enough area to cut the molds that will build new pieces.
