Panorama dos crimes virtuais no Brasil: evolução, desafios e mecanismos de denúncia

Abstract

O presente artigo analisa o panorama dos crimes virtuais no Brasil, abordando sua evolução desde a popularização da internet até ameaças atuais, como ransomware e fraudes digitais. São identificados os principais tipos de delitos cibernéticos que afetam o país. Também são descritas as plataformas de denúncia disponíveis, incluindo canais governamentais e iniciativas da sociedade civil, avaliando sua acessibilidade e usabilidade. Discutem-se ainda os desafios técnicos, sociais e jurídicos que dificultam o combate efetivo a esses crimes. A pesquisa bibliográfica e documental permitiu uma compreensão ampla do cenário, evidenciando sua complexidade e a necessidade de estratégias contínuas de aprimoramento legislativo, tecnológico e educacional.This article analyzes the landscape of cybercrimes in Brazil, examining their evolution from the popularization of the internet to current threats such as ransomware and digital fraud. The main types of cyber offenses affecting the country are identified. It also describes the available reporting platforms, including government channels and civil society initiatives, evaluating their accessibility and usability. The article further discusses the technical, social, and legal challenges that hinder the effective fight against these crimes. Bibliographic and documentary research provided a broad understanding of the scenario, highlighting its complexity and the need for continuous strategies for legislative, technological, and educational improvement.
