Fatores de crescimento: uma alternativa para o tratamento do envelhecimento cutâneo

Abstract

Introdução: O envelhecimento da pele tem basicamente dois componentes: o envelhecimento intrínseco, decorrente da passagem natural do tempo e o envelhecimento extrínseco, provocado por fatores ambientais que interagem com a pele. O uso dos fatores de crescimento em produtos cosméticos para o tratamento do envelhecimento cutâneo, cicatrização e estímulo do folículo piloso, vêm otendo bons resultados. Objetivo: Realizar um levantamento bibliográfico sobre a utilização dos fatores de crescimento em produtos cosméticos e comparar os ativos no aspecto de função, demonstrando produtos que são comercializados com esses fatores de crescimento. Material e Métodos: O trabalho foi desenvolvido através de uma revisão bibliográfica em banco de dados científicos e sites e-commerce analisando os produtos comerciais que fazem uso de fatores de crescimento em suas formulações. Resultados: Quando em sinergia com outros ativos cosméticos e terapias associativas, é possível potencializar resultados de tratamentos. Considerações Finais: Conclui-se que existem resultados cientificamente promissores quanto aos estudos científicos dos fatores de crescimento em formulações cosméticas.Skin aging has basically two components: intrinsic aging, resulting from the natural passage of time, and extrinsic aging, caused by environmental factors that interact with the skin. The use of growth factors in cosmetic products for the treatment of skin aging, healing and stimulation of the hair follicle has had good results. Objective: Conduct a literature review on the use of growth factors in cosmetic products and compare the actives in terms of function, demonstrating products that are marketed with these growth factors. Material and Methods: The work was developed through a literature review in scientific databases and e commerce sites, analyzing commercial products that make use of growth factors in their formulations. Results: When in synergy with other cosmetic actives and associative therapies, it is possible to enhance treatment results. Final Considerations: It is concluded that there are scientifically promising results regarding scientific studies of growth factors in cosmetic formulations.
