Colheita, carregamento e transporte de laranja: redução de custo no processo

Abstract

As operações de colheita e carregamento equivalem em média, a 44% do custo de produção dos citros. Por representar alto custo no sistema de produção citrícola, motivaram a elaboração deste trabalho, que teve como objetivos avaliar perdas na colheita e carregamento os fatores que interagem com as operações e sugerir alternativas aos produtores, visando aumentar a eficiência e reduzir seu custo. O carregamento mecanizado de laranja surge como alternativa, tendo sua viabilidade econômica diretamente relacionada à quantidade colhida diariamente e ao aproveitamento dos equipamentos utilizados. O carregamento possibilita o uso de big-bags, melhorando a situação geral da operação com o aumento da capacidade de armazenamento da fruta em Bin, utilizando material de colheita mais barato, facilitando a movimentação dos colhedores e permitindo o carregamento noturno da produção, entre outros. Aplicando técnicas de logística e gerenciamento na organização dos colhedores e no carregamento, podem-se conseguir ganhos consideráveis na eficiência de carregamento.Harvesting and loading operations account, on average, 44% of citrus production cost. Due to representing high cost in citrus production system, they motivated the elaboration of this work, which objectives were to evaluate losses in the harvesting and loading, factors that interact with the operations and to suggest alternatives to producers in order to increase efficiency and reduce their cost. Mechanized loading of orange appears as an alternative, having its economic viability directly related to the daily quantity harvested and to equipment usage. Loading allows the use of big bags, improving the overall operation situation by increasing the storage capacity of the fruit in Bin, using cheaper harvest material, facilitating the movement of the lanyards and allowing night shift loading of production, among others. Using logistic and management techniques to organize harvesting and loading, it is possible to observe loading efficiency.
