Análise de algoritmos de reconhecimento de face pelos métodos LBP e PCA para segurança de ambientes

Abstract

Para uma maior segurança em ambientes, o reconhecimento de face tem sido utilizado por muitas instituições. Neste trabalho é feito uma análise de dois algoritmos em Matlab que são capazes de analisar imagens de faces humanas, sendo um algoritmo utilizando o método LBP (Padrão Binário Local) e outro algoritmo utilizando o método PCA (Análise do Componente Principal), ambos capazes de extrair informações de imagens da face, e com o aprendizado de máquina fazer o reconhecimento da face verificando quão eficiente os algoritmos são para analisar as características da face humana com a finalidade de aumentar a segurança de um ambiente em redes de computadores. Conclui-se que o método PCA obteve a maior taxa de sucesso.For greater security in environments, face recognition has been used by many institutions. In this work we made an analysis of two algorithms in Matlab that are able to analyze images of human faces, an algorithm using the LBP (Local Binary Pattern) method and another algorithm using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method, both capable of extracting image information from the face, and with machine learning to do face recognition by checking how efficient the algorithms are to analyze the characteristics of the human face in order to increase the security of an environment in computer networks. It was concluded that the PCA method had the highest success rate.
