Produção de emulsões antibacterianas à base de Curcuma Longa L e Manjericão

Abstract

O objetivo inicial foi o de se fazer uma pomada se utilizando de componentes naturais, sendo a cúrcuma e o manjericão as principais plantas do processo, que foram escolhidas por serem o mais próximo do que se era desejado. Acabou por se fazer o uso de seus óleos essenciais, ao invés delas mesmas por fatores que ocorreram no laboratório. O propósito da escolha de se usar componentes naturais, se dá pelo fato de sua área abrangente que se é usada desde os primórdios da humanidade. A ideia da pomada foi substituída pela decisão de fazer uma emulsão, já que se aproximava dos resultados obtidos. Ao longo dos testes, se fez notável a necessidade do uso de produtos não naturais para se conseguir uma boa funcionalidade do fármaco. Duas bases foram adotadas, manteiga de cacau e pó de arroz para o procedimento. Ao fim, ambas as bases resultaram em emulsões com resultados positivos.The inicial objective was creating a ointment utilizing natural components, with Turmeric and Basil being the main plants of the process, that was chosen for being the closer ones of what was wanted. In the end was chosen to use the Essential Oil of the plants, instead of themselves because of some factors that happened on the laboratory. The purpose of this choice of using natural components it's due to the fact that it's abrangent area that's used since the primordial era of the Humanity. The ideia of the ointment was switched for the decision of doing an emulsion, since it's the closest of the obtained results. Troghout the tests, it was noticed the necessity of using unnatural products to achieve a good functionality of the pharmaceutical. Two bases was adopted, Cocoa Butter and Rice Powder for the procedure. At the end, both bases resulted in emulsions with positive results.
