Redes wireless: o que pessoas comuns sabem sobre essa tecnologia?

Abstract

O trabalho tem por objetivo demonstrar qual é o nível de conhecimento sobre as redes wireless de um grupo de 121 pessoas que responderam nosso questionário com uma diversa faixa etária e diferente nível de formação acadêmica. Com o resultado da pesquisa foi possível identificar o nível de conhecimento das pessoas sobre a rede wireless, quais são os pontos que elas têm maior dificuldade e para que geralmente sua rede é usada. No trabalho demonstramos o processo de evolução da redes wireless desde a primeira padronização até a mais atual. Foram levantadas as características, quais suas frequências, seus modos de transmissão, e falar sobre a rede WI-FI 6 que é a mais nova versão da tecnologia wireless.The work aims to demonstrate what is the level of knowledge about wireless networks of a group of 121 people who answered our questionnaire with a diverse age range and different level of education. With the result of the research it was possible to identify the level of knowledge of people about the wireless network, what are the points that they have more difficulty and what their network is generally used for. In the paper we demonstrate the evolution process of wireless networks from the first standardization to the most current one. The characteristics, which frequencies, transmission modes, and talk about the WI-FI 6 network, which is the newest version of wireless technology, were surveyed.
