Resumo
A produção de soja no Brasil tem um papel central na economia nacional e nas exportações do
país. A soja se consolidou como a principal cultura agrícola brasileira, com um crescimento
expressivo impulsionado por avanços tecnológicos e pela crescente demanda global,
especialmente da China. Em 2023, o Brasil colheu 44,5 milhões hectares, produziu 152,1
milhões de toneladas e exportou aproximadamente 67 bilhões de dólares em soja, dos quais
58,27% foram destinados à China. Este trabalho analisa a estrutura do agronegócio da soja,
abordando dados sobre exportações e importações, e destaca a importância de melhorias
logísticas e da adoção de práticas sustentáveis para assegurar a competitividade brasileira no
mercado internacional. Embora o Brasil seja um dos maiores produtores e exportadores globais
de soja, enfrenta desafios significativos, incluindo variações climáticas e a necessidade de
diversificar seus mercados, reduzindo a dependência das exportações para a China.

Soybeans have become Brazil's primary agricultural crop, with significant growth driven by technological advancements and increasing global demand, particularly from China. In 2023, Brazil harvested 44.5 million hectares, produced 152.1 million tons, and exported approximately 67 billion dollars in soybeans, of which 58.27% were destined for China. This study analysed the structure of Brazil's soybean agribusiness, discussing data on exports and imports, and highlighted the importance of logistical improvements and the adoption of sustainable practices to ensure Brazil's competitiveness in the international market. Although Brazil is one of the world’s largest soybean producers and exporters, it has faced significant challenges, including climate variability and the need to diversify its markets, thereby reducing its dependence on exports to China.
