As
mosca-branca e formigas.
consumidores.
This project investigates the development of natural insecticides instead of the use of pesticides, with a focus on human health and environmental protection. The excessive use of pesticides in Brazil has generated serious problems such as pollution and poisoning, and the country is one of the largest consumers of these products. Historically, ancient people used insecticide plants that contained secondary metabolites that had repellent and toxic effects on insects. The investigations suggest the development of two insecticides: one based on Citronella against aphids and ants and another based on Cashew nuts against whiteflies and ants. These methods include the preparation of responses and the carrying out of experiments in aviaries to evaluate the effects of pesticides on pigeons. The expected results include the improvement of pest control and crop health, contributing to sustainable and safe agriculture. The objective of this research is to find less dangerous alternatives to pesticides in order to promote food safety and the health of workers and consumers
