Resumo
O sinônimo de obesidade obteve proporções alarmantes nos últimos anos. Há
alguns anos atrás crianças gordinhas eram sinônimo de crianças saudáveis, em que pediatras
se preocupavam em como combater a desnutrição, já nos dias atuais a situação se inverteu,
a pesquisa realizada mostra que, uma a cada três crianças brasileiras de cinco a nove anos
está acima do peso. É fato que a falta de tempo dos pais contribui para esse fator por obter
um alto índice de consumo de produtos industrializado de fácil preparo por sua praticidade
associado ao excesso de tecnologia e inatividade física, portanto o papel dos pais é
fundamental para que a criança seja estimulada desde a infância a obter hábitos saudáveis
em sua alimentação e estimular brincadeiras e exercícios físicos, evitando assim uma
obesidade no futuro. Com o objetivo de conscientizar a introduzir alimentos saudáveis como
frutas, legumes na alimentação, assim acostumando o paladar das crianças.

The synonym of obesity has reached alarming proportions in recent years. A few
years ago, chubby children were synonymous with healthy children, in which pediatricians
were concerned about how to combat malnutrition, but nowadays the situation has reversed,
research shows that one in every three Brazilian children aged five to nine is overweight. It is
a fact that parents' lack of time contributes to this factor by achieving a high rate of consumption
of industrialized products that are easy to prepare due to their practicality associated with
excess technology and physical inactivity, therefore the role of parents is fundamental for the
child to be encouraged from childhood to obtain healthy eating habits and encourage play and
physical exercise, thus avoiding obesity in the future. With the aim of raising awareness to
introduce healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables into the diet, thus accustoming children's
taste buds.
